Designed by Lucas de Groot and released to the world in 2007, Calibri made history by dethroning Times New Roman as the default font of the MS Office Suite. Known for its warm curves and high legibility, this typeface became standard for everything! From poster design to legal contracts, Calibri made its mark on society. But, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Tune in to hear how this typeface helped catch forgery and why it eventually got booted out of the White House.
